Biñan City, Laguna — From simply just program that sets to assist schools thru
sketches and plans, the dream of Tomas providing supplies and facilities
A. Toralba Elementary School (TATES) in conducive to the students’ learning and
having its very own school library is now helps promote the spirit of Bayanihan in
taking shape thanks to the donation of the areas they visit.
Metro Pacific Tollways (MPT) South.
Last August 3, 2018, headed by its
Community Relations Team, MPT South
responded to the need of TATES and
handed over construction materials that
will be used for the establishment of
their school library.
Every teacher can attest how important
it is for an educational institution to
have this kind of facility. “We believe that
having a library is very helpful to pupils
wherein they can read, do their
assignments and borrow books,” said
Ms. Grace Dayao, Librarian of Tomas A.
Toralba Elementary School. “On behalf
of all the teachers, staff, and hundreds of
students of TATES, we’d like to extend
our deepest gratitude to MPT South in
helping us with this project,” Dayao
added.
As part of its CSR efforts in giving back
to the community, MPT South’s
donation will greatly aid in building a
small yet well-organized library that will
be supplemental to the students’
education. This is also part of a series of
Brigada Eskwela projects of the (L-R) MPT South Community Relations Ramsie Legaspi,
TATES Librarian Grace Dayao,
company – an annual community-based and MPTS Community Relations Leslie Saulog
