Ancient Romans

In the recent Metro Pacific Tollways’ Annual Management Conference held in Cebu,
August 23-25, 2018, Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC) President and CEO Rod
Franco likened Metro Pacific Tollways group to Ancient Romans in his message to it’s 128
leaders who attended the event.

Beginning in the eighth century B.C., Ancient Rome grew from a small town on central
Italy’s Tiber River into an empire that at its peak encompassed most of continental
Europe, Britain, much of western Asia, northern Africa and the Mediterranean islands.
The Roman Empire are noted to be one of the most successful civilizations in history. And
according to MPTC President and CEO Rod Franco, “MPTC can do the same.” Similarly,
MPTC has expanded since Metro Pacific managed NLEX in 2008.
