Arnett: we always go to the restaurant and always have a
good time and show me that she loves me.”

                                                    What is the most important
                                                    thing that your mom has

                                                    taught you?

Asi: “To always take care of my brothers and sisters. We may
have our differences, we may disagree on certain things but
I always remember that we are brothers and sisters. When
something like that comes up, we just take one phone call to
our mom and we all come back together.

Larry: “The most important thing that mom has taught me
is to think of others more than myself. My mom is the type of
person who would willingly give to others before herself and
that’s one thing I tried teaching my kind, to think of others
and it is more blessed to give to others than to receive.”

How will you describe your love for your mom?

Keifer: “In a matter of her being a best friend for me,
knowing that I could tell her anything, if I have problems or I
have ideas, if I have anything in mind like I just casually open
up a topic to her with no awkwardness. The best thing about
my mom is she’s frank about things even though I have
ideas, she’s gonna tell me right away if it works or if it will
work or what steps to take before doing such things. If I will
put it into context, my love for her is yung pagiging
                                                    bestfriends namin.”

Asi: “Very over protective. She was also looking after our family friends of all different races. She didn’t
treat anybody any difference. When they enter her house, she’ll feed you, cloth you, she’ll have you
sleep over and it didn’t matter to her if you belong to different skin color. She wanted you take care of
yourself and always wanted you to not do anything bad that will put you behind bars or anything bad
happen to you. And that’s why I love my mom, I appreciate that it made me a different person as I
            got older.”

Larry: “I’ll describe my love for mom as sacrificial in terms of

whatever I do right now, I make sure that a lot of it goes back
to her. Whatever she needs, whatever she wants to see from
me, I make sure that I provide for her and that I would not
do anything to make her ashamed of me. That there would

be nothing that I would do think that she raised me the
                                                    wrong way.
