We invited dads of the Metro Pacific Tollways senior management to share their secret regimen to
healthy living. Here are their answers:

Joseph J. Marigomen, Chief Legal Services

“Just a short spin on the bike or on the bike trainer
(when its malamok or raining). Most important is,
DONT LET THE STRESS TAKE OVER YOU. Learn to relax,
crack a few jokes and don’t take things too seriously,
trust yourself to find the right solutions at the right

Roberto V. Bontia, Chief Operations and Technology

“Actually, I do not have a “secret regimen” to healthy
living. What drives me to keep on trying (to be healthy)
is mainly this mindset that I have responsibilities in the
family, at work, and in the community at large… that I
can only fulfill them if I’m physically present and have a
certain energy and active level of engagement and
                                                             participation.

When it’s difficult to get up early in the morning to run
or do the exercise routine (especially when the weather
is so conducive just to stay in bed), I would remind
myself I’m doing this for the people I care for. That’s
motivation enough for me to hit the pavement.”
